In this Events Officer role, you'll be a key member of NCB's Research in Practice team, which works with clients across children’s services, adult health and social care across the UK, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work.

You'll work on a busy programme of workshops, webinars, conferences and bespoke events, including online workshops and events. You will act as the first point of contact for event participants, and manage all communication with them so they receive accurate event information. You'll also hosting online events and manage the evaluation and post-event communications. Experience in using video conferencing platforms is essential for this role.

The Research in Practice team is based in Newton Abbott, Devon, with a satellite office in Sheffield. NCB is ideally looking for the Events Officer for someone who is based in Devon and can work on a hybrid basis, but they are also open to candidates based in other parts of the country.
