In this Social Media Executive role at the Canal & Rivers Trust, you'll play a key role in growing awareness and support across TikTok.
You'll test, learn and drive organic growth on the TikTok platform from scratch, including offering guidance on support relating to strategy and content collection/creation. And you'll create video content that demonstrates the key areas of work delivered by the charity.
You'll need to be willing to get out and about on the waterway network, to support content creation.
We are looking for a great communicator who understands the importance of social media in growing a brand and delivering customer service. You will love creating content that best reflects our charity’s work, growing awareness and inspiring action from supporters along the way. You’ll be a fantastic ambassador for the Trust, always championing a strong collaborative team approach.
You'll need experience of managing TikTok and other social media accounts for a brand or organisation, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, great creativity and copywriting skills, and experience of short-form video editing.
This role will be based from home, but with an office ‘hub’ preferably in Birmingham Gloucester or Warwick for collaborative team meetings – this means it's important that applicants are able to commute easily to one of these locations.
