Rock Up Ready! is a free training programme for people living in the West Midlands region. The programme is delivered by Birmingham City University with funding from the British Film Institute training.

To apply for a place you'll need to be a recent graduate in a subject connected to film, TV, media or communications, or have demonstrable interest or experience in the film, TV and screen industries. West Midlands region. Rock Up Ready! is free to eligible participants.

You'll take part in 15 days of training over 3 months, with a mix of on-campus classroom and online sessions, including guest speaker sessions with industry professionals from scripted and unscripted production. You'll also have access to state-of-the-art production studio facilities for a 2-day immersive practical workshop.

The next course runs from January to March 2025, with a further course planned for summer 2025.
